Theranostics Services
We support our clients with specialized expertise in nuclear medicine physics, quantitative imaging, and dosimetry across the full theranostic workflow — from protocol design to reporting.
Theranostics is growing faster than physics support
Radiopharmaceutical therapy is expanding rapidly, but specialized medical physics expertise remains scarce. Teams are often left choosing between over-simplified dosimetry, inconsistent image quantification, and turnaround times that do not meet clinical or trial needs. Ascinta closes that gap — delivering rigorous, reproducible results on a schedule that fits your workload, whether that's a steady clinical caseload, a single trial, or a few hours of expert guidance.
Routine Patient Dosimetry
& Theranostic Workflows
We run your theranostic workflows, including patient-specific dosimetry, as a “hands-off” service. We connect remotely to your systems, monitor PACS for new imaging data, verify that it is complete and consistent, then run validated dosimetry pipelines and deliver physician-ready reports. All processing happens on-premises — your data never leaves your environment.
What's included
- Continuous image data quality and consistency monitoring
- Manual correction of registration and segmentation issues
- Custom-formatted reports and DICOM study formation
Quantification for Clinical Trials and Research Studies
We provide image quantification and dosimetry support for theranostic clinical trials and research studies. We help define fit-for-purpose methodologies and standardize workflows across sites. Our approach is detail-oriented and thorough: we compare methods and models, quantify uncertainty and variability, and document every assumption.
What's included
- Organ-level, voxel-level, and Monte Carlo dose calculation consistent with MIRD/ICRP guidance
- Tailored analysis of results with uncertainty estimates
- Transparent methodology reporting
Fractional Medical Physics Support
Access specialized medical physics expertise when you need it, from a few hours of targeted guidance to ongoing fractional support backed by our entire team. Our medical physicists specialize in image reconstruction, quantitative SPECT and PET, and radiopharmaceutical dosimetry, and can support you across protocol design, quality control, calibration, and targeted analysis projects.
What's included
- Ad-hoc consulting: protocol design, QC, workflow review
- Guidance on sample handling, phantom scans, and calibration
- Quantitative SPECT/CT and PET/CT reconstruction support

Frequently asked questions
Where does our patient data go?
In our routine patient dosimetry service, all processing runs on-premises within your own environment through a secure remote connection — your data never leaves your site.
Which radionuclides and isotopes do you support?
Both established and emerging theranostic radionuclides, including and not limited to beta emitters such as Lu-177, Y-90, and I-131, alpha emitters such as Ac-225, Pb-212, and Ra-223, and imaging companions such as Ga-68, F-18, Tc-99m, and In-111. Every engagement is tailored to your specific isotope, camera, and protocol.
What dosimetry standards and methods do you follow?
Our calculations typically follow MIRD and ICRP guidance and range from organ-level to voxel-level and full Monte Carlo, depending on what your study requires.
Can you support multi-center trials?
Yes. We provide centralized, vendor-agnostic quantitative reconstruction and dosimetry support across sites, along with harmonized SOPs.
Do we need to install new software?
Typically no. We work within your existing systems and common platforms, and adapt to your environment.
How do engagements start?
With a short discovery call to understand your workflow and goals, followed by a scoped proposal and quote.
Can you match our report format?
Yes. We deliver PDF or your preferred format and build custom report layouts to your specification.
How is this priced?
Flexibly — by report, study, protocol, or hour, depending on the service. You'll receive a clear quote after the discovery call.
